About the project
Jervis Bay Road to Sussex Inlet Road is a 20 kilometre section of the Princes Highway, crossing a range of local environments, landscapes and connecting multiple communities.
Transport’s identified corridor would improve safety and traffic efficiency by delivering an improved alignment with planning for two lanes in each direction.
It would improve safety, performance and accessibility at major intersections, better connecting communities off the highway. It would also improve efficiency and reduce congestion by bypassing east of Wandandian.
The identified corridor would connect with the proposed design for the Jervis Bay Road intersection upgrade.
