We’re building a safer highway for the NSW South Coast.
We’ve already invested over $2.9 billion in upgrades to the Princes Highway between 2011 and 2019. Our Roadmap to 2040 shows our priorities over the next 20 years to deliver safer, more reliable, more efficient journeys.
Over $2.25 billion has now been committed to progress five priority projects between south of Nowra and the Victorian border:
- Jervis Bay Road and Princes Highway intersection upgrade
- Jervis Bay Road to Sussex Inlet Road upgrade
- Milton Ulladulla bypass
- Burrill Lake to Batemans Bay upgrade
- Moruya bypass
See our projects section below to find out more. These projects are currently in the planning and design stage, with the upgrades to the intersection between Jervis Bay Road and Princes Highway planned to start early construction work later this year.
